Wes Farrell hits 2 homers, including a grand slam, driving in all of the Red Sox's runs and striking out eight to lead Boston to a 6-4 victory over the Philadelphia Athletics. It was one of five times Ferrell homered twice in a game. He finished his career with 38 home runs.
