On Tuesday, Sept. 23rd, Jim Deshaies fires a two-hitter and ties a NL record when he strikes out the first eight Dodgers. On Sept. 24th, Nolan Ryan takes a one-hitter into the ninth inning against the Giants. The next afternoon, MIKE SCOTT THROWS A NO-HITTER TO CLINCH THE DIVISION FOR HOUSTON. Tell me of any other consecutive pitching performances to match that!!!!
