I had the honor of being at this game, the first the Yankees played after the death of Thurman Munson. I will never forget the heartfelt, tear-soaked 10 minute ovation 51,000+ gave for our captain after the Yanks took the field, leaving the catcher's position open. It was one of the most memorable and saddest moments of my life.
